What I collect via this website
Enquiry form/email: name, email, and your message. If you include it, the type of support you’re interested in and your area (for potential groups).
Technical data: basic logs and cookies (through my website host and any analytics you accept).
Why I collect it (lawful bases)
To respond to your enquiry and provide information about services (Legitimate Interests / Steps to Contract).
To manage interest lists for parent groups (Legitimate Interests).
If you ask to receive updates, I’ll only send them with your Consent (you can withdraw any time).
To keep required business records (Legal Obligation).
How I use your information
To reply to you, arrange an initial call, or share details about services/groups.
To understand demand by area for possible group provision.
To keep my website secure and improve it (aggregate analytics if enabled).
How long I keep it:
General enquiries: up to 12 months after last contact (so I can follow up if you ask).
Group waiting lists: up to 12 months (or until you ask me to delete it).
If you start therapy, your data moves under my Client Privacy Policy (usually retained 5–7 years depending on record type).
Sharing
I use reputable service providers (e.g., website host/form provider/email). They act as processors and only process data under my instructions.
I do not sell your data.
If you proceed with ASF-funded work, I may share minimal necessary information with the Local Authority/Adoption Support Fund team to set up/monitor funding—normally with your consent (or as required by funders/contract).
I may share information if required by law or safeguarding concerns.
International transfers

Some providers may store data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, I ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., UK IDTA/EU SCCs).
Your rights
You can access, correct, erase, or object to processing, and withdraw consent where that’s the basis. You can also restrict processing and request portability where applicable.
